The EureleA awards ceremony at the Cebit 2009 in Hannover
On March, 6th 2009, the INMEDEA GmbH has finished second in the EureleA awards at the Cebit in Hanover in the categories “Instructional design of media” and “General impression”.
120 firms and institutions have participated in the contest for the best professional e-learning-solutions in Europe. The demand for this new kind of educational instruments is explicitly mentioned in the highly reputed trade journal JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association). According to this journal, a false diagnosis can present a severe danger to the patient and even a higher risk than errors in treatment. This is precisely where the new concept of the INMEDEA GmbH takes effect, in training the ideal steps for a correct diagnosis on the basis of virtual patients. Medical process quality and treatment results can thus be improved, the damage of patients can be avoided.
